Many universities in Korea hire foreign teachers.
Universities generally prefer:-
a) a degree related to English teaching
b) a TESOL Certificate
c) A Masters Degree
d) Experience in teaching

A lot depends on where the university is. Universities in the countryside find it hard to get qualified teachers - and lower the barrier in times of need and may only require any degree.

The advantages of the University job are:-
* a professional atmosphere
* enjoyable teaching programs
* long vacations
* short working weeks

Wages are in the vicinity of 1.8 million Won to 2.5 million Won.
Contracts of one year vary from university to university. Some offer end of year contract bonuses, some don't. Pension funds differ as does the rules for paying into and getting back your money from that fund.
